The DraftKings product manager posted on LinkedIn that a player of the leading gambling and sports betting company in the United States hit the largest iGaming jackpot in the nation's history.
The DraftKings product manager, Trey Giacomodonato, disclosed on LinkedIn that one of the leading gambling companies in the world, which is based in Boston, Massachusetts, gave away the largest recorded iGaming jackpot in the United States: over $9.2 million. DraftKings has tracked this jackpot every day since initially building it out in their system. This win obviously set an industry record, by which the lucky winner won the life-changing amount of money.
According to the media, an unnamed Michigan individual wagered 20 cents on the Irish Pot Luck game on DraftKings as part of a progressive online casino jackpot that began at $1 million in February 2024 and eventually grew to the highest payout in US history.
This victory surpassed the previous record for an online jackpot won in New Jersey in August of last year. Back then, $6.45 million was earned by the winner.
